VTHM Group Awarded Top 10 ESG Initiative in Vietnam 2024
On October 3rd, 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, in collaboration with the U.S. Mission to Vietnam and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), jointly organized and officially honored the Top 10 businesses awarded the "Vietnam Initiative 2024" award. VTHM Group, a reputable ceramic tile manufacturer, is proud to be among the recipients of this prestigious award.
Ms. Cao Thi Khanh Chi, General Director of VTHM Group (second from the right in the top row), received the certificate for the Top 10 ESG Initiatives in Vietnam 2024.
The Vietnam ESG Initiative is a program designed to support businesses in implementing the ESG assessment framework and sustainable business practices, contributing to the realization of Vietnam's Green Growth Strategy for the period 2021-2030 and the Government's program to support sustainable business operations of the private sector.
At the award ceremony, VTHM had the opportunity to interact and share with distinguished guests and partners on the ESG initiatives and ideas that are being actively implemented at the company, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, optimizing the use of energy and resources, developing people - Sharing progress and prosperity, and improving production operations to achieve green certifications.
In the event, Mr. Bui Anh Tuan, Director of the Enterprise Development Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment (far right), and Ms. Aler Grubbs, Country Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) (far left), met, exchanged, and listened to the sharing of the representative of VTHM Group about the company's efforts over the past time and the expectations for the following activities that VTHM is committed to implementing.
USAID project members and guests attending the event were interested in VTHM Group's ESG ideas and initiatives.
Recognizing that the practice of ESG in businesses is a sustainable and necessary direction for Vietnamese enterprises on the journey to "Reaching the high seas", VTHM Group will continue to implement activities to create an impact on both internal and external stakeholders, pioneering innovation, aiming to enhance competitiveness, and promoting the sustainable values of the enterprise through the integration of ESG into operations.
